The Definition of the word Expedition

1. A journey undertaken by a group of people with a definite objective
2. The people and equipment comprising an expedition

Guatemala Central America. Home to Base Camp EOM. Antigua Guatemala The republic of Guatemala is situated in northeastern Central America bordering Mexico, Belize, Honduras and El Salvador. The country is the heart of the Maya Civilization.

The Expedition

Once a project is selected and the funds are available a EOM team sets out to find and locate the project site. There EOM with stay on the project site or with local families. Its a great opportunity to to get directly involved with a community.

EOM has Short term and Long term Projects.

Short Term.
1. Garden for the Blind.
2. Painting
3 .Wildlife Refuge Center
4. Teaching.
5. Medical Teams

Long Term
1.Soup Kitchen/ Homeless Shelter
2 Education/ English, Spanish and Indigenous Dialects.
3.Drug and Alcohol Rehab
4. El Salvador/ Nicaragua

Expedition Outreach Movement has an adopt a Volunteer Program. If you are interested in Supporting and keeping in contact with a volunteer at EOM. You will see the progress and the projects your support is fronting. Your support will go towards the room and board and the transportation cost. Your support will allow the Volunteer to be involved with a community project.

When you donate towards EOM you start an Investment. Your Donations helps the Movement. You invest in peoples lives. The change in peoples lives is the greatest part in all the Expeditions.

We strive to reach out to those who are in need. We work hard and dedicate our lives to Reaching Out to whom ever it may be.

The Projects that EOM involves themselves with come from the ideas and thoughts of those who are directly involved with EOM. Our main focus is the HOMELESS. Feeding and clothing those that have no home. The life on the streets. Drug and Alcohol addictions. Sickness and Disease. Pregnant Women and children.

Expedition Outreach Movement found a great concern that is very common all around the world. The concern is the Homeless. No matter where you are or who you are...living on the streets can be very unhealthy and hard on you physically.mentally and spiritually. EOM made it a goal to serve the homeless communities and adapt into the struggles and offer their charity and goodwill. Sometimes just your time makes all the difference in the World.

Sometime in your life, hope that you might see one starved man, the look on his face when the bread finally arrives. Hope that you might have baked it or bought or even kneaded it yourself. For that look on his face, for your meeting his eyes across a piece of bread, you might be willing to lose a lot, or suffer a lot, or die a little, even.

a. The act or an instance of moving; a change in place or position.

b. A particular manner of moving.

a. A series of actions and events taking place over a period of time and working to foster a principle or policy: a movement toward world peace.

b. An organized effort by supporters of a common goal: a leader of the labor movement.

Tommy and Tammy Di Emidio started Expedition Outreach Movement in 2010. They were working in the Dominican Republic and began to put together small projects helping local communities and their families.The focus of EOM has always been to take care of one another. EOM depends on the support of FRIENDS.......It cant be done with out the help of others.

Be The Movement

Everything that is donated goes to helping others in need. Boundaries can be a challenge but the reward is always the enlightenment when peoples lives are changed in a positive way. Thats what drives Expedition Outreach Movement.

With Movement comes many things. EOM is always raising financial support for all the projects...which includes finding the Volunteers and giving

them a place of refuge.
Transportation from project sites.
Supplies and Materials for Building projects.
